GENERATORS

SUS owns and maintains most of the emergency stand-by generator systems at Fort Liberty.  SUS is responsible for maintaining the generator, automatic transfer switches, above ground storage tanks, and all associated wiring per manufacturer recommendations. SUS also maintains permit information, inspections and maintenance records, and load bank results.  SUS follows NFPA 101, which requires that emergency generators be installed, tested and maintained in accordance with NFPA 110.
